He was predeceased by: his wife Ona Rae Sims. He is survived by: his daughters, LaRita Sims Grow of Linden, TN, Sandra Thornberry of Brandon, MS, Carmen Boleware of Pontiac, MO and Mary Sims of Hattiesburg, MS; and his sister Linnie Chapman of Petal, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
