It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Dean McLendon Jr. of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean McLendon and Juanita McLendon; his niece Lisa Garner; and his nephew J. Garner. He is survived by: his sister Gloria Courtney of Hattiesburg, MS; and his nieces and nephews, Marvin Courtney, Jr. (Belinda), Bobby Sullivan (Pam), Eloise Collier (Johnny), Inez Bryant and Christy Walters (Ray). He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
