The passing of Rebekah Elizabeth Young of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Carthage, Mississippi leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 2, 2024 at the age of 46. She was predeceased by: her father Rev. James H. "Jimmy" Young, Jr. (New Hope Baptist Church); her grandparents, James H. Young, Sr., Madeline Young, George Alvin Willey, Jr. and Viola Morgan Willey; and her uncles, George Alvin Willey, III, David Lee Young and Steven Floyd Young.
She is survived by: her mother Sarah Willey Young; her brothers, Dr. James H. "Jim" Young, III (Pete) and Peter Lawrence "Pete" Young; her sister-in-law Jade Young; her niece Hattie Young; her nephew JP Young of Flowood; and her uncle Danny Young of Carthage. She is also survived by four aunts, and eight cousins.
