She was predeceased by: her children, Michael and Tracey; her parents, I. F., Sr. McGowan and Sadie McGowan; and her brothers, I. F., Jr. and Blanton McGowan.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim McCool, Jr. (Kathy) of Potomac Falls, VA and Pat McCool (Gwen) of Hattiesburg; and her sister Ruth Helen Windham of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
