She was predeceased by: her parents, Merriman Hall and Velma Dockery Waller; her husband Robert James Wood, Sr.; her children, Jimmy Wood, Matt Wood and Roberta Jean Wood; her brother H. Hall, Jr.; and her grandson-in-law Jonathan Farris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Armstrong of Hattiesburg and Jeanine Cook (James "Bus") of Hattiesburg; her daughter-in-law Vicki Wood of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Sandy Sanderson (Robin) of Columbia, Susan Sanderson Farris of Hattiesburg, Ryan Armstrong (Misty) of Purvis, Josh Armstrong (Jennifer) of Valencia, Spain, Dustin Wood (Alice) of Louisville, MS, Jennifer Wood Pace (Jim) of Carson, MS, Jeremy Aultman of Ocean Springs and Madison Cook Howard (Hunter) of Hattiesburg. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
