He is survived by: his niece Martha Steele (Stephen Edwards) of Overland Park, KS.; and his nephew Chris Andersen (Anne Meyer Andersen) of Tulsa, OK..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Cherokee Public Library in Cherokee, IA.
