He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Smith and Mary Idell Smith; and his brother Kenneth Smith. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Smith of Hattiesburg; and his children, Paul Smith, II (Janiece) of Hattiesburg, Tara Godbold (Benji) of Bay St and Janopy Metzger (James) of Petal. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
