She was predeceased by: her husbands, Hallard Bufkin Hancock, Sr. and Leslie Mitchell; her son Hal Hancock, Jr.; her parents, William Daugherty and Grace Daugherty; her grandchildren, Lisa Mitchell and Shane Mitchell; her great grandchild Kasey Haden; and her siblings, Gerald Daughtery, Reece Daughtery, Ruby Shanks and Rita Mae Ball.

She is survived by: her daughters, Betty J. Pearce of Glendale, Sandra R. Smith of Seminary and Deborah M. Mitchell of Hattiesburg; and her sister Clara June Webster of Harriman, TN. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
