He was predeceased by: his parents, Odie Brackman and Verna Brackman; his stepmother Willie D. "Red" Brackman; his daughter Kathy Craft; and his siblings, Caroll "J. C." Brackman and LaNelle Eastland.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Brackman of Hattiesburg; and his children, Dale Brackman (Lynell) of Hattiesburg, David Brackman (Cindy) of Pattison, MS, Karen Gill (Lee) of Hattiesburg and Daniel Brackman (Judy) of Hattiesburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Temple Baptist Church Building Fund.
