It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Smith of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Smith and Onie Lea Smith; and his brother Timmy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Judy McMurry Smith of Hattiesburg; his sons, Brandon Smith (Melissa) and T. J. Smith (Paige); his grandchildren, Kaylee and Carson Smith; his sisters, Beverly Clark (Sonny) of Purvis, Brenda Howell (Mike) of Petal and Vicki Howell (Curtis) of Petal; and also, Scott Smith (Shannon), Stuart Irby and Scotty Ezell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
