It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Mae Brooks Taylor of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Brooks and Myrtle Brooks; and her siblings, Ruth Conditt, Eva Phillips, Bernie Brooks, Sr., Roscoe Brooks and Rosa Lee Steverson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Taylor, Sr.; her grandchildren, Jason Lowe, Brian Lowe, Aaron Barksdale, Melissa Rodgers, Tyler Lowe and Meghan Lederer; and her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Yanik, Shannon Sebille, Cassie McGrory, Jason Shaidnagle and Jessica Shaidnagle. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
