She was predeceased by: her husband Jack C. Wimberly; her parents, Doug McCurley and Doshie McCurley; and her sisters, Hazel Welch and Doshie Fortner.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Wimberly (Kel Richardson) of Hattiesburg, Guy S. Wimberly (Ginger) of Prattville and Jack Cook Wimberly, Jr. (Lynette) of Gluckstadt, MS; and her grandchildren, Guy W. Wimberly (Rebecca, Clara Wimberly), Savannah Wimberly, Jake Wimberly, Keira Wimberly, Kate Wimberly and Lucy Wimberly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardy Street Baptist Church Joy Club or charity of choice.
