He is survived by: his wife Jean Courtney of Oak Grove; his children, Marvin Courtney, Jr. (Belinda) of Oak Grove, Melvin Courtney of Oak Grove, Bobby Sullivan (Pam) of Petal, Nell Sewell (Steven) of Oak Grove, Eloise Collier (Johnny) of Carriere, Inez Bryant of Moselle and Christy Walters (Ray) of Moselle; and his siblings, Dorothy Guy of Glendale, Eddie Jo Smith of Ellisville and Ricky Courtney of Brooklyn. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
