She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Netherton and Dovie Netherton; her husband L. G. Polk; and her siblings, William Netherton and Faye Cardinal.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Polk (Mary) of Hattiesburg and Sherry Harless (Stephen) of Purvis; and her brother Charles Netherton of Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent to Hardy Street Baptist Church.
