She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Yelverton and Eva Yelverton; her husband Gerald Ezell, Sr; and her brothers, Beautel Yelverton and Gary Yelverton.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Suzette Anderson of Hattiesburg, Gerald Walker Ezell, Jr. (Jeanie) of Brooklyn, Dewey Ezell of Hattiesburg and Michael Lane Ezell of Carnes; and her sisters, Margie Mitchell of Petal and Alice James of Bay Springs. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
