He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kitchens and Stella Kitchens; and his grandson James Graham. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brady Kitchens of Hattiesburg; his children, Clarence Nobles (Dominica) of Hattiesburg, Daniel Nobles (Lisa) of Petal and Tanya Kitchens of Hattiesburg; and his siblings, Garlend Kitchens of Hattiesburg, Jimmy Kitchens of Hattiesburg, Terry Kitchens (Melissa) of Hattiesburg, Steve Kitchens (Merritt) of Hattiesburg, Mary Dykes (Michael) of Petal and Darlene Saja of Seminary. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
