She was predeceased by: her father Otis K. Scales. She is survived by: her son Tyler Talkington; her daughter-in-law Julie Talkington (Becker) of Miami; her mother Carolyn Scales; and her brothers, Otis Scales (Lilly Scales) of Gulfport and Gary Scales of Gulfport. She is also survived by numerous uncles and aunts.
