It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Davis Downs (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), who passed away on December 11, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Doyle V. Downs, Jr.; her parents, Benton Davis and Viola Davis; and her brother Tommy Davis. She is survived by: her husband Doyle V. Downs; and her nieces and nephews, Jeff Davis of Mt. Olive, MS, Johnny D. Downs (Rita) of Purvis, MS, Vicki Downs Frye (Thomas) of Hattiesburg, MS, Kathy Downs James (Mickey) of Wiggins, MS, Barbara Downs Lott of Hattiesburg, MS, Wendy Davis Reynolds of Columbia, MS and Martha Downs Williams (Fred) of Midlothian, VA. She is also survived by five great nephews and six great nieces; a number of great-great nieces and nephews.
