With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Stuart McInnis (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 70. As John Stuart departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John Stuart. Though John Stuart may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McInnis and Rita McInnis; and his brothers, Edward and Donald McInnis. He is survived by: his wife Suzette; his daughters, Rachael McInnis and Rebecca McInnis Hardy; and his son-in-law Nathan Hardy.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oaklawn Cemetery (401 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
