He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah McPhail; his children, Jonathan McPhail and Memory Ledet; his grandson Jonathan Ledet; and his siblings, Jessie McPhail, Dorothy Jean Norris and Patsy Schoenfeld.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Darrell McPhail of Hattiesburg, Phillip Ledet of Gladewater, TX and Brandy Ledet of Monticello; and his siblings, Keith McPhail of New Hebron and Faye Jackson of Monticello.
