It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Stuart of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Stuart and Edna Stuart; his son John Phillip Stuart; his siblings, Shorty, Bill of Hugh, L. D., Henry, Joe Stuart and Lorrita Owen; and his granddaughter Kellye Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Stuart of Hattiesburg; his children, Matthew Stuart (Angela) of Purvis, Annette Baca of Hattiesburg, Larie Elder (Kelvin) of Hattiesburg and Melinda Stuart (Charlie Repetti) of San Rafael, CA; and his siblings, Charles Stuart (Dona) of Richton, Arthur Stuart (Susan) of Ridgeland, S. C., Elizabeth Brown of Blackshear, GA and Joyce Yawn (Garvis) of Purvis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
