With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeff Neal Griffis Sr. of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on May 23, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Griffis and Sarah Deane Griffis. He is survived by: his wife Essie Fay Griffis of Hattiesburg, MS; and his sons, Neal Griffis (Karen) of Hattiesburg, MS, John Nick Griffis of Seminary, MS, David Griffis of Okinawa and Daniel Griffis (Melanie) of Barrow, Alaska. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild.
