She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Ward "C. W." Allred, Jr.; her parents, John Matthews and Winnie Matthews; and her siblings, Menton Matthews, Mildred Neetles, Dewey Lee Matthews, Pauline Preston and Charles Matthews.
She is survived by: her sons, Russell Hewitt (Therese) of Hattiesburg, MS and Stan Hewitt (Sharon) of Slidell, LA; her grandchildren, Rachel Hewitt (Robert Bruns), Chris Hewitt (Jen) and Brad Hewitt; and her great grandchildren, Emilia Hewitt and Peter Hewitt.
