She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Carr, Sr.; her daughter Shannon Nelson; and her siblings, H. A. Dobson, Laura Frances Morris, Mary Blanche Meinhardt, Ruth Marie Dobson of Citronella, AL and Ouida Arlene Christensen.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Morgan of Hattiesburg, Stephen Nelson of Purvis, James Carr, Jr. (Patty) of Hillsdale and Ronny Carr (Angela) of Purvis. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other friends.
