She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Bucklew and Millie Coulter Bucklew; and her siblings, Iris Bucklew Thornton, Colleen Bucklew McDonald, Erma Jean Bucklew Faler, Bernice Bucklew Yates and Gerald Dent Bucklew, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ben B James Jr. (Laura Leigh) of Butler, Alabama and Myra Elizabeth James "Beth" of Hattiesburg; and her sister-in-law Linda Jo McQueen Bucklew of Collins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (795 MS-532, Mt Olive, MS 39119). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
