She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lancaster and Joyce Gillis; her stepparents, H. D. Gillis and Rachel Lancaster; her former husband Walter N. Steele; her sister Jennifer Gillis; her stepson Brandon Steele; and her grandson Brandon Austin Lee Steele.
She is survived by: her husband Lambeth of Flomaton; her children, Christopher Steele (Bridgett) of Brewton and Sarah Steele of Flomaton; her stepson Nathan Lambeth of Flomaton; her siblings, John Lancaster (Cindy) of Keego and Joy Sawyer of Brewton; her grandchildren, Jameson Steele, Ryland Steele, Jayda Steele, Brianna Ivey and Savannah Blackmon; her cousins, Sandra Mixon, Nancy Campbell, Tommy Terry and Denise Simmons; and her aunt Louise Wright.
