He was predeceased by: his wife Waynette D. Ward; his parents, Pleaze Ward and Glaydas Ward; and his siblings, Bill Ward, Kenny Ward, Beatrice Cox and Mary Blanche.
He is survived by: his sons, Raymond W. Ward (Linda) and Richard D. Ward (Nancy); his brother P. W. Ward; and his grandchildren, James H "Jimmy" Ward, Lori Sorrells, Wendy Ward Calhoun, Paul Prine and Azlyn Justice. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
