He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hardy and Gladys Huff Winstead; his wife Peggy Addy Winstead; and his siblings, Bobbie Ruth Haley, Dorothy Marie George and Albert Wilson Winstead.
He is survived by: his son Brendon; his daughter-in-law Bethany Winstead of Woodbine, GA; and his granddaughter Maeven Winstead. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
