With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Thompson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David J. Thompson, Jr.; her parents, William Cole and Ada Cole; and her sister Ada Cochran. She is survived by: her son Glen Thompson (Carolyn) of Hattiesburg; and her grandchildren, Jason Humphries of Hattiesburg, Joshua Thompson (Ashley) of McHenry, Jonathan Thompson of Hattiesburg, Jeremy Thompson of Hattiesburg, Lauren Harding of Hattiesburg and Kayla Steenburgh (Michael) of Hattiesburg. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
