He is survived by: his daughter Margaret; his son-in-law Jerry Hyer; his sons, Mark (Merrill McCollum) and Montana; his grandchildren, Mary Margaret Hyer Moore, Stephen Moore, Bonnie Elizabeth Hyer, Katherine Virginia Hyer of Hattiesburg and Henry Edward Hyer of Hattiesburg; his brothers, Frank (Gigi McCollum) and Michael (Judy McCollum); and his pet Jack. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, and his constant companion.
