She is survived by: her sons, Jamie Simmons (Alisha) and Kevin Simmons (Daphne); her grandchildren, Austin Simmons, Ashlyn Allen (Cameron), Allyson Simmons, Emma Jane Simmons, Addie Simmons and Emma Leigh Simmons; her brother Elbert Harris, Jr.; and her son James Simmons.
