He is survived by: his wife Gail Smith; his daughters, Shirley Palmisano (David), Robin Schulze (Bruce), Debbie Pledger (Tommy) and Georgia Sewell; his grandchildren, Jeremy Kelley, Austin Sellers, Jennifer Pledger, James Parnell, Cody Pledger and Ethan Schulze; and his sisters, Frances Rayburn (Alvin), Patsy Mims (Derwood) and Peggy Graham. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
