We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2021, at the age of 72, George Alford Cook (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), born in Grand Junction, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Floyd E. Cook, Sr.; his children, Shannon, Georgie and Bryan; his stepson Russell Achord; his brother Floyd E. Cook, Jr.; and his niece Latrisha Le Deaux.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lynn Cook; his son Jon Paul; his stepdaughters, Regina Breard (Paul), Misty Fuller (Matt) and Tracey Achord; his grandchildren, David Breard, Victoria Walker (Joseph), Charles Breard, Steven Breard, Matthew "Buddy" Fuller, Nehemiah Fuller (Sarah), Emory Fuller, Lindsey Achord, Chandler Achord, Alivia Cook and Ava Cook; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Walker, Colton Walker and Adeline Walker; his mother Lovie Cook; and his sister Jewel Flint.
