Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Geneva Terry (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), who passed away at the age of 81, on December 9, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aquilla Denson, Jr. (AQ) and Thelma Whitehead Denson; her spouses, James Williams and Jimmie Lee Terry; and her brother James Denson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Williams (Verlena) and Tessie Reed (Greg). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
She served not only as musician for youth and adult choirs, but she also served as director of Vacation Bible School at Priest Creek and started the first online and telephone Sunday School class at Mt. Olive long before the pandemic arose.
She had such a love for the university that she attempted to go there everyday throughout her Alzheimer's journey.
