She is survived by: her sons, Tony Thornton (Pam) and Alan Thornton (Sabrina); her sister Patricia Boutwell; her grandchildren, Oksana Antonova Thornton (late Michael Thornton), Russell Thornton (Monica), Emily Thornton (Derek), Andy Thornton (Maddy), Leann Craft (Austin) and Debra Pope (Joseph); and her great grandchildren, Slade Pope, Ryker Pope, Audrey Thornton, Brayden Craft, Tehya Thornton, Oliver Thornton, Issac Thornton, Zeta Shaw Jacobs, Eva Thornton and James Thornton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
