He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Lowry Massengale; his children, Suzanne Massengale Sessums (David) of Vicksburg, MS and Matthew Eugene Massengale (Kathy) of Hattiesburg, MS; his stepdaughters, Kaylie Michele Townsend of Chandler, AZ and Reagan Lowry Andrews (Jeffrey) of Purvis, MS.; and his grandchildren, Gayle Latham Goudelock (Robbie) of Cumming, GA, Laura Latham Montgomery (Will) of Madison, MS., Patrick Henry, Frances Reese Goudelock, William Dribben, Lucy Suzanne Montgomery, Aiden Parker Townsend, Irie Quinn Lincoln, Cora Elizabeth Broome and Jasper Robert Broome.
