As we bid adieu to Frank Allen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Frank Allen has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his mother Hattie Byrd Potter Bounds; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Schwierjohn and Edwin "Skipper" Potter. He is survived by: his wife Mary Faith Potter; and his daughters, Gwen Potter Page (Tim), Gay Potter Smith and Gretta Potter Holloway (Louis). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Frank's legacy of faith is embodied by his service as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Lumberton and the generous donation of land that established Trinity Church, now known as the Lumberton Church.
