She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. "Bob" Burris; her parents, Harold Milton Fields and Ina Odell Farmer; her stepfather Clifford Woodrow Farmer; and her brothers, Harold Fields and James Fields.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Land of Hattiesburg, Scott Burris (Karen) of Hattiesburg and Dana Hendry (George) of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, Lacianne Kling (Ben), Kristian Farr (Jordan), Logan Hall, Kelsey Steffens (Blaine), Jordan Hall (Nicole), Andrew B. Coons (Dallas) and Audrey True (Trever); and her siblings, Bill Fields, Clifford Earl Farmer and Janette Fields Jeeter. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Due to health concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will be having a private graveside service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
