She was predeceased by: her husband William Jervis Mims; her parents, Emmit Weatherford and Redus Weatherford; and her siblings, Eloise Hardy and Truitt Weatherford.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Smith (Kelly) of Hattiesburg, Steve Mims (Renee) of Austin and Gregg Mims (Michelle) of Belleair Bluffs, Florida; her siblings, Charlotte Clark of Petal, Ford Weatherford of Petal and Phillip Weatherford of Gulfport; and her brother-in-law Derwood Mims (Patsy) of New Augusta. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
