She was predeceased by: her daughter Beth Powe; her brother Luther McDonald; and her parents, Maggie McDonald and George McDonald. She is survived by: her granddaughter Laura Powe Taylor (Stephen); her sisters, Alyne Haigler and Ina James (Sid); her great grandchild Heidi Elizabeth Powe Taylor; and her son-in-law Neil Powe.
Due to the current concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will be having a private graveside service at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
