It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erin Fay Salter Weldon in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Mae Brooks Salter and James Melvin Salter, Sr.; and her sister Gloria McQuagge. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Scott (Scotty) of Petal and Elizabeth Holloway (Shaun) of Hattiesburg; her brother James Salter (Tricia); her grandchildren, Ethan Scott, Emma Jane Scott and Hannah Holloway; and also Woodshire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a community of kind friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Cleveland Cemetery (1118 N Bayou Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732).
