Elsie S. Peel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie S. Peel of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Smith and Eva Smith; and her siblings, Mildred Land, Eva Mae Hearn, Lola Hammacker, Grace Fowler, Leo Smith, Herman Smith and Lamar Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Shimer (Dan) of Dallas, TX and Landa Ryan (Pat) of Hattiesburg; her grandson Patrick "Joey" Ryan (Sallie) of Hattiesburg; and her great grandchildren, Haley Ryan and Patrick J. Ryan, III.
Due to COVID-19, masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Heritage United Methodist Church or to Hub City Humane Society.
