He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Alice and Jasper Parish; and his siblings, Carl Parish, Jasper Parish Jr. (Martha Ann), Gladys Parker (Clifton), Wilma Overstreet and Evelyn Parrish (Jimmy Ray).
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Floyd Parish; his children, Gregory Earl Parish (Joy) and Sonya Parish Sanderson; his granddaughters, Faith Nicole Parish, Anna Marie Parish, Amy Elizabeth Sanderson and Natalie Kendall Sanderson; and his great grandchild Hadlee Claire Wand. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Canopy Children's Services (formerly Mississippi Children's Home Services) or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
