He is survived by: his sons, Paul Trippe (Felice) of Pensacola and Peter Trippe (Cindy) of Brooksville; and his grandchildren, Allison Thomson (Charlie) of Charleston, SC, David Trippe of Pensacola, Ashley Trippe of Brooksville, Ryan Trippe (Kristen) of Tampa and Chris Cook (Jennifer) of Hattiesburg, MS..
