It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lewis Stanley of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Stanley; her sons, Jim, George and Mike Stanley; her parents, Charlie Lewis and Marilla Lewis; and her siblings, Frank, Dewey Lewis, Bessie Jenkins, Lily Ford, Tena Davis, Nellie Rayborn, Dolly Breland, Ruby White, Bertie Beck and Elouise Fillingame.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Stanley of Hattiesburg, MS, Jeannie Nowlin of New Iberia, LA and Wayne Stanley of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
