She was predeceased by: her husband John Rayford Lewis; her son-in-law Edward "Ed" Lumpkin; and her parents, Margaret Anderson and Chulia "Bunk" Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Martha Lumpkin of Brooklyn and Johnny Lewis of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, John Lumpkin (Jess) of Brooklyn and Jaime Kirkland (Jason) of Hattiesburg; and her great grandchildren, Brooks Lumpkin, Briggs Lumpkin, Kate Kirkland and Cade Kirkland.

At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pineview Baptist Church Building Fund.
