She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Boone and Clemmie Boone; and her son Danny Boyd. She is survived by: her daughter Martha Boyd-Shafer of Hattiesburg, MS; her siblings, Betty Lou Hardy of McComb, MS, Billy Boone (Barbara) of Mendenhall, MS and Robert Boone (Wanda) of LaCombe, LA; and her grandchildren, Lt. Daniel Boyd (Lizeth), James Boyd, Phillip Boyd, Erica Atchison-Toifel (Cody), Jesse Shafer (Raina) and Justin Shafer. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley Southern Methodist Church (223 N 19th Ave, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
