She is survived by: her son Sean Garrett (Crizzet) of Fort Worth; her siblings, Tonia Adams of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Gloria Moore of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Brunella "Peaches" of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Jay Hester of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Lawrence McDowell of Fort Wayne, J. P. McDowell of Atlanta, Georgia, Samira Boune St and Shiela Ramsey Caldwell of Landon, Maryland; her granddaughters, Deborah McClendon and Tamera Thompson; and her great grandchild Zaquez Alford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
