He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Simmons; and his parents, Smiley Haney and Myrtle Simmons. He is survived by: his sons, Casmus Simmons of Hattiesburg, Thomas Simmons of Hattiesburg and Dennis Simmons of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Cyyrus Simmons, Skyy Simmons, Jon Thomas Simmons and Josh Boyer; and his sister Jencie Dollar of Atlanta, TX..
