With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Thomas Butler (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Davis Butler of Hattiesburg, MS; his sons, Michael Butler of New Orleans, LA and Jeremy Butler of Atlanta, GA; his stepdaughters, Jenifer Tidwell of Arlington, MS and Lynn Bates of Las Angeles, CA; and his sister Phyllis Mize of Denver, CO. He is also survived by three step-grandsons.
